Privacy Policy

HobbyHobby is operated by Scout LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wisconsin, United States. This policy covers hobbyhobby.app and explains what happens to information when you visit.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts on this site, no sign-up, no newsletter and no contact form. We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics product, we set no advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors or sell data to anyone.

What your browser stores

When you save a hobby, that choice is written to your own browser'slocal storage. It stays on your device, it is never sent to us, and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it. Because it exists only to deliver something you explicitly asked for, it is not used for tracking.

Affiliate links

We take part in the Amazon Associates Program. Product links carry a referral tag so the retailer can attribute a purchase to this site. When you follow one you leave HobbyHobby, and the retailer's own privacy notice and cookies apply from that point rather than ours.

What comes back to us is a commission report covering which products sold and what was earned. It carries no names, addresses or payment details, and we have no way to connect a purchase to a visitor. Our affiliate disclosure explains how the commercial side works.

Images and hosting

• Photographs on hobby cards are loaded from a third-party image host. Your browser requests them directly, so your IP address and browser details are visible to that host in the ordinary course of serving the image.
• The site is served by our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page and user agent) for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify individuals.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, the EU, California or anywhere with comparable law, you have rights to access, correct, delete and port personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. In practice we hold none, so there is usually nothing to hand over or erase, but write to us and we will confirm that in writing. We will never charge you for asking or treat you differently for having asked.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly swapped in.
